**Responsibilities**:

- Communicate effectively and pro-actively with internal team, clients and industry contacts.
- Attend pre-bid meetings, pre-award meetings, site meetings as required as the main company representative.
- Analyzes plans, specifications, proposals, and other documentation to prepare bid estimates for projects, completes detailed estimates on selected projects consisting of project site visit, quantity take-off, pricing, risk management/ contingency allocation, and presentation of the estimate for management review.
- Develop and complete all required pre-planning activities including execution plans, schedules, safety plans, quality plans, progress reporting, manpower/ equipment resource plan.
- Develop and manage schedules in cooperation with project leads for submission to the client.
- Attend industry events and meetings to stay ahead of competition, market and establish relationships with existing clients and prospects.
- Attend pre-bid meetings, pre-award meetings, site meetings as required as the main company representative.

**Qualifications**:

- Minimum 5 years of experience as a Construction Manager
- Excellent presentation and relationship building skills.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office
- Experience in heavy civil construction is required.
- Experience with underground water and sewer is required.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Willing and able to work out of town.

- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
- Weekend availability

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Edmonton, AB: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred)

**Education**:

- Bachelor's Degree (preferred)

**Experience**:

- Construction industry: 5 years (preferred)
- Underground water and sewer: 1 year (preferred)
- Construction Manager: 5 years (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- Class 5 Licence (preferred)

Willingness to travel:

- 50% (preferred)
