We are currently recruiting for **Apprentice Carpenters **to join the team at the Vancouver General Hospital** **project

**Responsibilities**:

- Be able to comprehend blueprint readings and prepare layouts
- Understand industrial concrete forming, be able to build concrete forms, and other structures
- Complete rough and finishing carpentry tasks, while utilizing appropriate math skills
- Check completed units to be sure they are level, square, plumb and the right size, shape and location
- Perform other related duties as assigned

**Requirements**:

- Be a Registered Carpenter Apprentice -3rd to 4th year
- Experience with concrete formwork required
- Certifications needed, CSTS & WHMIS
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- Describe and point out safety compliance and regulatory issues
