Vancouver, Canada PCM Pomeroy Construction & Maintenance Ltd. Full time

PCM POMEROY CONSTRUCTION AND MAINTENANCE currently requires carpenter and apprentice carpenters. Work includes wood framing, renovation, repairs, decks, install windows / doors, building paper / wrap, strapping, membranes and flashing. Applicant should have a desire to learn carpentry trade and grow with the company. We will train for the job. We have a positive, friendly working environment and strive to provide opportunity for growth and long term employment.
Pay scale range:

- CARPENTER: $29 - $35 per hour
- APPRENTICE: $24 - $28 per hour
- 50/50 extended health and dental benefit package available as part of compensation
- bonuses paid twice per year
- year round work, no winter lay-offs
- long-term career with opportunity for advancement

Duties and responsibilities:

- repair of building envelopes and wood framing
- repair of decks, re-sloping, wood fascia's and trim boards
- install doors and windows with waterproofing and flashings
- install building paper / house wrap / moisture barrier and strapping

**Requirements**:

- interested in learning carpentry trade, building and renovating
- pouch and carpenter hand tools, safety compliant boots and hard hat
- punctual; be on time every day
- reliable; work a 40 hour week
- dependable; able to work independently with mínimal supervision
- able to commute to our sites throughout Metro Vancouver
- follow PCM, provincial health and Worksafe BC safety regulations

**Salary**: $24.00-$35.00 per hour
