City College of Business, Health & Technology is seeking a dynamic sales individual to join our team as an Education Consultant at our location in Newmarket.
**Primary Responsibilities**:
The primary responsibility of this position is to recruit, qualify, and enroll new students into our college programs. This will be done by recruiting new students through regular and ongoing outreach activities.
Interviewing and testing applicants using our pre-screening and sales process, and establishing and maintaining rapport with the student body and employees to promote referrals. You will also be required to maintain regular data entry in the College administration system.
The Education Consultant will support the vision, mission, and values of our organization while contributing to a positive, supportive, and student-focused team environment of respect, integrity, dedication, and readiness, embracing diversity and fostering inclusion.
**Qualifications**:
- Minimum Grade 12 (OSSD or equivalent) is required.
- Minimum two (2) years of experience in a sales-related position or occupation.
- Two (2) years of demonstrated experience and proven success in customer service
- Prior experience in a sales position in the Private Career College industry is an asset
- Proficient in MS Office (especially Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint)
- Experience working with online communication tools such as Zoom is preferred
- Strong interpersonal, organizational, and time management skills are essential.
**Hours of Work**:
This position is a permanent full-time opportunity. Hours of work will be 8:30am - 5pm, Monday to Friday.
Pay: From $35,360.00 per year
