Westcon Precast INC. is currently looking for a responsible, diligent, and skilled **Plant Maintenance Helper **to join our team. As a Plant Maintenance Helper, you will support the plants needs by ensuring a safe and productive work environment. This role is critical to the smooth operation of the plant's precast concrete production. In this position, you will have the opportunity to use different skills every day as you learn how to service and repair moulds, equipment, and some mechanical components.

**Duties and Responsibilities Include**:

- Assist Plant Manager with tasks including lubrication, maintenance, and repairs
- Assist with physical inspections of all plant properties
- Maintain cleanliness of equipment, trucks, and plant work areas
- Transport and organize materials to and from storage and shop areas
- Help create maintenance schedules and logs for maintenance and repair activities
- Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and environmental regulations, as well as company policies and procedures

**Who We Are Looking For**:

- Highschool diploma or GED required
- Experience using hand tools and power tools
- Utmost desire to work cooperatively as part of a production team
- Pro-active worker with the ability to work safely and independently without constant supervision
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Able to work inside and outside in year-round weather conditions
- Must have no problem wearing PPE (hard hat, steel-toe boots, etc..)
- In good physical condition, able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs
- Must be able to sit and stand for extended periods of time, kneel, and climb ladders
- Ability to work extended hours, occasional weekends and/or overtime as required

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $21.00-$26.00 per hour

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday
- Overtime
