Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Line Cook/Prep Cook to join our morning/afternoon team. No Nights. As a Line Cook/Prep Cook, you will be responsible for assisting in the preparation and cooking of meals in our kitchen. This is a vital role in ensuring that our customers receive high-quality and delicious food.

**Duties**:

- Assist in the preparation and cooking of various dishes according to recipes and guidelines
- Prepare ingredients by washing, chopping, and measuring as required
- Follow proper food handling and safety procedures to ensure food quality and prevent contamination
- Set up workstations with all necessary ingredients and cooking equipment
- Ensure that food is cooked to the appropriate temperature and presented in an appealing manner
- Monitor food stock levels and notify the kitchen manager of any shortages or discrepancies
- Clean and maintain work areas, utensils, and equipment to ensure a safe and sanitary kitchen environment
- Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure efficient operations

**Requirements**:

- Previous experience working in the food industry or a similar role is required
- Knowledge of food service procedures, meal preparation techniques, and kitchen equipment operation
- Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail
- Strong understanding of food safety practices and regulations
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work well within a team
- Flexibility to work weekends, and holidays as needed

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Casual

Pay: $19.00-$25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 8 - 32 per week
