The DC E commerce Team Lead will provide leadership and support to a team of 6 - 8 E commerce DC associates on the weekend shifts. Reporting to the E commerce Supervisor he / she will manage a variety of day-to-day warehouse activities in an accurate, efficient and cost-effective manner. In addition, the weekend shift TL will be responsible for employee management and development, inventory control and the management of good Health & Safety practices in the warehouse.

**Role and Responsibilities**
- Leads, plans and controls all weekend shift day to day activities including, training, coaching and personnel development.
- Monitors work processes and warehouse conditions to ensure the safety of all employees.
- Provides a professional approach with relationships to team members and other departments.
- Maximizes the E commerce departmental productivity, by understanding the expectations of the company and evaluates performance, in order to identify root causes and corrective actions.
- Works closely with other departments, specifically Customer Service to obtain information and communicate in a timely manner.
- Ensures all exits are checked, and the building is secured upon leaving at the end of each shift.

Works directly with the E commerce Supervisor to ensure departmental efficiencies are met and align with company objectives, allocated budget and plans

**Preferred Skills Qualifications and Education Requirements**
- Experience supervising small teams of associates in a warehouse setting or pick / pack environment.
- Self-starter with the ability to multitask in a busy environment.
- Possess good judgement and decision-making skills.
- Effective verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills.
- Must have strong leadership and organizational skills.
- Ability to effectively plan, assign workload and staff assignments.
- Hands on approach, with the ability to work flexible hours when required.

**Additional Notes**
- Sat - Sun hours, 7:00am - 3:30pm / Mon - Wed hours, 7:00am - 3:30pm
- Some flexibility with shifts or overtime may be required at times.
- Other duties as required.
