Overview:
**Fountain Tire** is looking for a responsible, safe and dedicated associate to join our team as a
**Service Truck Operator **at our
** Nanaimo **location. This is a role for an individual with a solid foundation of experience in the tire industry.

**What each day will bring**:

- Something different You never know what kind of vehicle or tire you may be required to work on- You could be inspecting, installing, balancing, rotating, and/or repairing truck, farm, industrial and/or OTR tires and wheels
- A variety of working in the shop and on the road- Amazing customers to impress with your professional and friendly customer service- The responsibility to keep yourself and your coworkers safe- Pride in the work you've done keeping your customers safe and on the road, site or field

**Working conditions**:

- Working in the shop and in the Service Truck as required
- A team environment where hard work, concise communication and clear heads are rewarded
- Consistent lifting of weights of approximately 25KG is required
- This work can unpredictable, physical, wet, cold, windy etc and we need someone who will be up for the challenge
- This role requires nearly constant standing, crouching or kneeling

**What kind of person are we looking for?**
- We are looking for someone who is a commercial or OTR tire expert
- A team player willing to take on any tire or any task
- A valid driver's license is a must. We also need to see that you are responsible on the road by providing a satisfactory driver's abstract
- This work can unpredictable, physical, wet, cold, windy etc and we need someone who will be up for the challenge
