**GRAVEL TRUCK DRIVER**

**Core Responsibilities1. Drive & Haul**
- Operate Class 1/1A gravel trucks, end dump, belly dump and/or side dump
- Haul material between pits, crushers, stockpiles, and job sites.
- Follow dispatch, haul routes, speed limits, and site rules.

**2. Inspect & Maintain**
- Complete daily **pre-trip, en-route, and post-trip inspections**.
- Check brakes, tires, lights, hydraulics, tarps, and safety gear.
- Report defects immediately and remove unsafe trucks from service.

**3. Load Control**
- Ensure loads are level, legal, and properly tarped.
- Prevent spills, overloading, and material loss.
- Position truck safely for loading and dumping.

**4. Safety & Compliance**
- Follow KCL safety rules, PPE, and site traffic plans.
- Maintain logbooks, hours-of-service, and load tickets.
- Participate in safety meetings and report hazards or near-misses.

**5. Site Coordination**
- Follow flaggers, supervisors, and crusher crew directions.
- Back into dumps and stockpiles only when cleared and spotted.
- Keep haul roads and dumps safe and organized.

**6. Professional Conduct**
- Treat customers, crew, and the public with respect.
- Protect KCL’s equipment, reputation, and schedule.

10 days on and 4 days off, LOA and Accommodations provided.
