**ABOUT THE JOB**

**Responsibilities**
- Maintain and repair the company’s equipment and facilities on an as-needed basis or by following preventative maintenance programs.
- Accountable for all Electrical, Instrumentation Controls and plant equipment maintenance to ensure mínimal downtime.
- Ensure proper operation of refrigeration systems and boilers within legal limit.
- Repair/Replace defective machinery parts, perform equipment adjustments, and fabricate parts when required.
- Assist in setting up, change over production equipment and work with operators to increase uptime reliability.
- Troubleshoot and identify root-causes for failures quickly, accurately and determine the best course of action for repair.
- Take ownership of assigned tasks and complete them in a timely and efficient manner.

**Qualifications**
- Mechanical aptitude and working experience with pumps, bearings, gearboxes, welding and fabrication.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and extended hours
- Ability to read and follow detailed SOP’s, repair manuals and blueprints
- Able to Communicate well with other team members and leadership

Either one of the following is a must, 2 or more is an asset:

- College diploma in mechanical or electrical engineering
- Industrial Maintenance Electrician (309) OR Construction Electrician (442A)
- Industrial Millwright Mechanic 433A
- Refrigeration Class B Operator certification or Power Engineer Class 4
