We are currently recruiting **Class 1 Highway Truck Drivers** to join our Gold Mountain Mine team, centrally located between Kelowna and Merritt, British Columbia. **General Duties & Responsibilities**:

- Daily 3 trips from Gold Mountain Mine to New Afton Mine site with Super B-train side dumps
- Daily 360° inspection for operational and safety checks of company supplied truck and trailer
- General maintenance, cleaning and washing company supplied truck and trailer as required
- Complete general services on truck including greasing, and tire tread monitoring and reporting
- Accurately complete all work reports, daily hour logbooks and pre-trip inspection logs
- Highway hauling ore from Gold Mountain (located 57km east of Merritt) to New Afton (located 17km south of Kamloops)

**Requirements**:

- Valid Class 1 Drivers License w/air brakes endorsement
- Five plus years’ experience with a clean drivers abstract driving truck and trailer preferred
- Previous experience in hauling with a B-train
- Operate safely with care and attention to truck, equipment, jobsites and the crew
- Ability to work in a demanding environment
- Must keep a very tidy and clean cab, expect that taking pride in truck is a requirement of employment
- Work to a schedule to that is set by project requirements
- Ability to pass drug and alcohol test
- Haul is applicable to drivers residing in Kamloops or Merritt to match nightly truck parking requirements

**Location**: The Gold Mountain Mine is centrally located along highway 97c between Kelowna and Merritt, British Columbia and controlled by Gold Mountain Mining Corp., a BC based exploration and development company. With the exception of a well maintained 2km of Forrest Service Road to access the mine site, this is an all asphalt haul.
