This role requires someone with a keen passion for Business Development. You will be expected to manage an existing portfolio of business clients while also looking at growing your client base in the territory. You will be provided with hands-on training and be surrounded by a team supporting you in driving your territory’s growth. **More About the Role**:
Reporting into the Vice President, Sales - Eastern Canada, this position involves a high level of business development and communication skills. You will be expected to achieve sales targets by increasing our brand’s reach within our existing client base, converting new sales leads for the region, and developing and maintaining mutually beneficial relationships with key internal and external stakeholders. Your business clients will require support, thus requiring an individual that has strong customer-service and account-management skills to meet the demands of this role.

Specifically, your role will include:

- Generating new sales from existing dealers. Ensure all our existing partner relationships within the territory appreciate the value of SilverChef’s offering.
- Encourage and train our dealer network to have regular conversations around equipment financing with their hospitality clients.
- Identifying new opportunities in the marketplace
- Managing deals within your sales pipeline
- Lead generation, handling and managing the leads database using Salesforce
- Managing expectations of dealers’ clients who require assistance with financing for their equipment purchases.
- Manage existing dealer accounts. Deliver professional and timely responses to all Customer Experience issues in-line with agreed standards
- Developing strong relationships with Dealers and end-users
- Developing strong operational relationships with internal and external stakeholders
- Communicating effectively with the team and regularly update them on any roadblocks or outcomes
- Reporting and data analysis

Skills to Thrill
- 2+ years in sales preferred
- High level of interpersonal and relationship building skills including the ability to liaise, advise and interact well with internal and external stakeholders
- High quality planning, organisational skills, time management and problem-solving skills
- Experience in Equipment Financing, Dealer Financing, or Hospitality equipment sales will be well regarded
- Experience as a SME Commercial Commercial Account Manager or Advisor will be well regarded, but not required
- Great verbal and written communication skills, including great presentation skills and the ability to persuade
- Team player with energy, flexibility, and integrity
- High attention to detail and high level of accuracy
- Sound computer literacy skills. Salesforce knowledge and experience considered an asset.
- Knowledge of Mandarin or Cantonese would be an asset but not a requirement.
