**Test Technician/Electrical**

**Primary Responsibilities**:

- Perform electrical testing of all AVP products
- Operate and maintain test equipment for top performance operation
- Ability to use a systematic and pragmatic approach to troubleshooting
- Write test program for new products
- Enter in ERP and maintain test part numbers; update Bill of Materials
- Reporting units that fail
- Actively pursuing the most efficient methods of testing products.
- A willingness to accept guidance and accept that standards are an important part of completing this job successfully.

**Skills and Experience**
- Good manual dexterity (hand-eye coordination)
- Basic understanding of electrical schematic diagrams
- Familiar with Cirris Easy-Wire Test software is an asset
- New tests, proposed techniques and procedures have to be documented
- Knowledge of Photo Shop Elements is an asset
- Familiar with Microsoft Office environment
- Familiar with ERP/MRP
- Able to work independently and multitasking
- Diligent and meticulous in performing the job
