Description du poste

The Electrician will be responsible for:
Work from drawings, specifications and verbal instructions to install, connect and adjust control panels, transformers, circuit breakers in the electrical and control bungalows
Follow up maintenance with a systematic approach using available tools, documents and resources.
Wire, inspect electrical equipment; check ventilation systems, current variations; modify connections between systems, etc.
Know the methods of tagging and lockout.
Use instruments such as: voltmeter, ammeter, megohmmeter, ohmmeter.
Perform minor repairs on electronic equipment (e.g. component verification).
Install programmable logic controllers and computerized systems Install and interpret data from analog and digital recorders as required.
Program the various components of a machine (PLC, sensor, controller, drives, etc.)
Support work planning. Bring to the site the materials and tools necessary to accomplish the work.
Complete various reports manually or by computerized system.
Assist employees of different classifications in the completion of assigned tasks by performing simple jobs. Provides advice.

**Qualifications**:
Technician degree in electrodynamics or diploma in electronic and electrical engineering or diploma in industrial electronics technology required.

Professional knowledge of electricity is required. Read and interpret electrical plans, drawings and schematics. Use common electrical and mathematical formulas. Read power meters, indicators, speedometers and other measuring instruments.
Working knowledge of simple machines and basic bench tools.
Use maintenance software.
