Must be a PR/Canadian Citizen to gain Airport security clearance*
- RAIC holders/Airport Screening exp will be given preference
- Must have a strong command of English or French language (written and verbal)
- Must have a valid Provincial Security License
- Must have a valid Emergency First aid and CPR certification.
- Possess access to a vehicle for transportation ( considered an asset )

**Must be a Canadian Citizen or Permanent Resident to be eligible for this position as you must be able to get a RAIC certification issued by the Airport if you don't already possess one.**

**Compensation package: Start $18.54 after 3 months $19.57/ hour**

**Duties**:
**Skills Required**:

- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills while being alert and detail oriented
- Ability to exercise vigilance and multi task is required (Ability to prioritize, remain calm and multi-task under pressure in a dynamic environment)
- Proficient in using technology
- Experience in proper search techniques.
- Ability to effectively generate all relevant shift reports and distribute in a timely manner
- Must be able to speak, read and write in English
- BC Security Guard license
- Clear Criminal Record
- Must be able to obtain Restricted Area Clearance (RAIC)
- Effective Written and Verbal Communication Skills
- Must be able to move, shift, manipulate, 35kg at a time
- Must be able to stand, sit, walk, patrol for extended periods of time ( 8-12 hours)
- Must be comfortable with working in both outdoors (when necessary) and indoors
