AECOM Buildings & Places business line is seeking a Project Coordinator for immediate employment in the Whitby, ON office.

**Job Summary**:
The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:
+ Assists the Project Manager with planning and execution of project activities for multi disciplinary building engineering design projects,
+ Coordinates project work with design groups such as Architecture, Industrial, Structural, Mechanical, Electrical, rails, and Civil,
+ Plays an active role in records management, budget tracking, and scheduling, and
+ Prepares meeting minutes, reports, and other documents.
+ Attends site visits and Clients’ meeting.
Minimum Requirements
+ Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering (or relevant field of study) and no less than 2 years related professional experience working as a project coordinator in an engineering business or demonstrated equivalency of experience or education.
+ Registered or in process to register with the Professional Engineers Ontario (PEO),
+ Experience coordinating and preparing design submissions for Site Services Connections and Building Permit approvals
Preferred Qualifications
+ 5+ years experience preferred,
+ Experience working within a consulting engineering business,
+ Must have an understanding of fundamental building science,
+ Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and related documentation,
+ Team player with excellent listening skills; willingness to work with multiple different colleagues on a variety of initiatives,
+ Ability to work in a high-paced environment with a sense of urgency,
+ Outstanding oral communication, written and presentation skills,
+ Strong organizational skills - ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously,
+ Consultative, service-oriented mindset and collaborative problem-solving skills, and
+ Proactive and goal-oriented, with the ability to work independently and manage change effectively.
