A key contributor to the Americas Talent Acquisition team responsible for effectively executing searches by partnering with Hiring Managers to generate a variety of recruiting strategies including but not limited to sourcing, screening, leveraging social media and sharing best practices to attract top talent to Medtronic.

**A day in the life**
- _Evaluates employment factors such as job experience, education and training, skills, knowledge and abilities, and other data pertinent to classification, selection, and referral. _
- _Phone screens and conducts interviews to recruit prospective employees. _
- _Manages applicant tracking system and creates reports and metrics analysis. _
- _May prepare applicant assessments, provide applicants with information on the company, oversees background checks and drug testing, check references and ensure successful hiring and on-boarding process. _
- _Responsible for reporting complaints and Adverse Drug Reactions (ADR) _
- Lead Early Career program
- Involved in various TA strategic project initiatives

**Must Haves.**
- _Bachelor’s degree, or; Advanced degree. _
- _Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience, with a bachelor’s degree, or No minimum years of relevant experience, with an advanced degree. _
- Excellent verbal and written skills
- Generate reports of recruitment activity on a routine basis
- Established and productive individual contributor,
- Able to work independently with general supervision on larger moderately complex projects and assignments
- Lead and collaborateon TA projects/reports
- Able to work in a fast pace environment
- **Bilingual English and French**

**Nice to have.**
- 4-year degree and practical knowledge and demonstrated competence within the job area typically obtained through advanced education combined with experience,
- Advanced degree focused on Human Resources Management or Organizational Psychology preferred
- Knowledgeable in Taleo
- Able to handle large complex projects with mínimal supervision,
- Proficient in recruiting for senior level roles i.e Manager and Director level
