Brockville, Canada EFI Engineering Full time

About Us

We’re a fast-growing site development team tackling projects of all scales—from custom patios to large-scale subdivisions, spanning residential, commercial, and industrial developments. Our projects extend from Ottawa to Cornwall to Kingston, working across multiple municipalities.

We are client-first, but we also balance community needs and innovative design to create impactful, sustainable developments. We take a collaborative, hands-on approach, and we’re looking for someone who’s eager to jump in, take ownership, and think outside the box.

Who You Are

You’re a design-driven problem solver who can take an idea and translate it into thoughtful, well-crafted plans. You have a keen eye for design, strong technical drafting skills, and a passion for creative solutions. You’re comfortable in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, and you thrive on new challenges.

You’re not just a drafter—you think big, push boundaries, and bring fresh ideas to the table. You take initiative, but you also work well in a close-knit, collaborative team.
Key Responsibilities

Design & Drafting: Develop innovative site plans, subdivision layouts, and building designs using AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, or other relevant software.

Project Coordination: Assist in managing project timelines, deliverables, and client communications, ensuring smooth workflows.

Creative Concept Development: Think outside the box—explore design alternatives and innovative solutions to create compelling, functional developments.

Regulatory Compliance: Ensure designs meet Ontario Building Code, zoning bylaws, and municipal regulations.

Presentation & Marketing Materials: Prepare polished presentations, renderings, and reports to support client and municipal approvals, as well as internal and external marketing needs.

Collaboration: Work alongside planners, engineers, architects, and municipal officials throughout the project lifecycle.

Problem-Solving: Be ready to adapt, find solutions, and contribute to a growing team where no two projects are the same.
What You Bring

Education: Diploma or degree in Architecture, Civil Engineering, Urban Planning, or a related field.

Experience: 3+ years (flexible based on skills) in design, drafting, or project coordination—bonus points for experience in site development, subdivision planning, or sustainable design.

Software Proficiency: AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, and Adobe Suite (or similar tools for rendering and presentations).

Knowledge of Regulations: Strong understanding of Ontario Building Code (OBC), zoning bylaws, and site plan control processes.

Communication Skills: Ability to clearly present ideas, write reports, and collaborate with clients, municipalities, and stakeholders.

Design Mindset: A strong visual eye, ability to create aesthetic, functional layouts, and a passion for innovative design.

Team Player: You thrive in a collaborative, fast-moving environment and are ready to roll up your sleeves.

Adaptability: Willingness to tackle new challenges, learn on the fly, and contribute to a growing team.
Why Join Us?
