Assistant Warehouse Supervisor

Bittele Electronics Inc. is an established Turn-Key PCB assembly company specializing in prototype and low-to-mid volume PCB assembly. Our facility in Toronto, Canada incorporates our Head Office, Sales Office, Parts Procurement Team, as well as our new State-of-the-Art PCB Assembly line. In business since 2003, we are securing a strong brand name and reputation in low-to-mid volume Turn-key PCB assembly throughout the EMS industry.
We are in the need to hire an **Assistant Warehouse Supervisor** to support the warehouse supervision activities in relation to receiving, counting, storing, shipping and overall inventory control. Salary is dependent upon experience.
**Responsibilities include but are not limited to**:
- **Inventory Management**: Oversee the accurate and efficient management of inventory, including SMT and PTH components, inspection tools, and packing materials.
- **Order Fulfillment**: Coordinate and prioritize the fulfillment of orders, ensuring timely and accurate delivery of components to the production line and finished goods to the packing area.
- **Space Optimization**: Strategically organize and optimize warehouse space for efficient storage of SMT and PTH components, inspection equipment, and packing materials.
- **Receiving and Inspection**: Supervise the receiving process for incoming materials, conducting inspections to verify quality and accuracy, especially for SMT and PTH components.
- **Shipping Coordination**: Coordinate shipping activities, ensuring accurate packaging, and labeling of finished products and components, and compliance with shipping regulations.
- **Staff Supervision**: Lead and manage warehouse staff involved in handling SMT and PTH materials, inspection tools, and packing supplies, fostering a safe and efficient work environment.
- **Documentation and Record Keeping**: Maintain accurate records of inventory levels, shipments, and receiving activities, providing visibility into the movement of materials and components related to SMT, PTH, inspection, and packing.
- **Continuous Improvement**: Implement continuous improvement initiatives in warehouse operations, identifying and addressing inefficiencies in handling SMT and PTH materials, inspection tools, and packing supplies.
- **Communication with Production and Quality Teams**: Foster effective communication and collaboration with production and quality teams, ensuring seamless coordination between warehouse activities and SMT, PTH, inspection, and packing processes.
- **ERP systems**: In depth understanding of Syteline Operations, and well versed in creating reports, workflows, and industry leading practises to assist modernize and standardize warehousing module. Experienced in using Syteline and FactoryTrack modules in a manufacturing setting.
**Qualifications**:
- **Bachelor's Degree (Optional)**:
- A bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Operations Management, or a related discipline.
- Organized, self-motivated team player, able to work well under pressure.
- Effective time management skills as well as prioritization and execution to ensure optimization of results with mínimal lost time.
- Knowledge of electronics components is an asset.
- Strong skills with MS Word, Excel, Power Point and Outlook.
- Experience using Syteline 3 years mínimal. Usage of other ERP solutions and 5+ years experience in Syteline is a plus.
- Ability to communicate in Mandarin is required.
- Manufacturing experience is a must
