**Capex Procurement Analyst**
We are looking for a Procurement Analyst to implement various procurement strategies to support value-creating projects.
**About the role**:

- Deliver projects in a timely manner as a key element in meeting business unit expectations
- Support the Procurement Specialists in the implementation of tenders and contracts
- Ensure all projects are entered into Ariba and meet all requirements set out in Rio Tinto Group and Rio Tinto Procurement policies, standards and guidelines;
- Actively execute work to plan and track progress against priorities, find solutions to barriers;
- Build trust with stakeholders by establishing clear agreements, seeking regular feedback and delivering on commitments made to achieve common goals;
- Be able to lead negotiations and establish negotiation plans, with support from the Procurement team, for approval.
- Participate in meetings with stakeholders for the implementation and execution of procurement strategies as well as the implementation of contracts.
- Follow up on equipment purchases.

**Requirements to be considered for this position**:

- More than 2 years of relevant experience in procurement
- Negotiation, analysis and problem solving skills
- Ability to develop and implement **category management strategies**:

- Excellent interpersonal skills, including presentation, written and oral communication skills; initiative, team player and positive attitude
- Sensitivity to anticipate regional impacts and potential effects on the organization
- Ability to introduce our zero injury safety culture into procurement processes
- **Strong Excel spreadsheet skills** (able to create management tools such as modeling and scenario analysis, etc.);
- Strong analytical ability and the ability to effectively collect and compile data;
- The ability to communicate verbally and in writing succinctly with internal and external stakeholders;
- Ability to work without supervision;**:

- Bilingualism (French and English)**:

- Good knowledge of MS Office; experience with Ariba and SAP an asset**

**Job Type**: Fixed term contract
Contract length: 12 months

**Salary**: From $34.00 per hour

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
