The Provincial System Support Program (PSSP) is seeking a full-time, permanent Knowledge Broker to support the Understanding Mental Health and Well-Being in Later-Life project that aims to raise awareness of mental health and addiction issues among seniors in the community and promote help-seeking behaviours. Reporting to the Manager of Knowledge Translation and Exchange (KTE), the Knowledge Broker will develop, execute and evaluate knowledge dissemination and exchange plans using a range of methods, and develop content and knowledge products with stakeholder input.
The Knowledge Broker will research, analyse and synthetize academic and other forms of evidence to develop tailored knowledge products for health and other service providers working with older adults, and health promotion resources for older adults. The Knowledge Broker will be responsible for managing website content and social media promotion, updating workshop material and other resources as new content needs emerge through stakeholder and participant feedback, organizing and hosting webinars, and preparing reports. In collaboration with other project team members, the Knowledge Broker will manage and support an online community of practice, including monitoring activities, encouraging participation, and facilitating collaboration and knowledge exchange.
