Audio Visual Technician - 6 Month Contract (Red Deer, Alberta) with Go AV

Go AV is seeking an experienced Audio Visual Technician to join our team on a 6-month contract in Red Deer, Alberta. As an AV Technician, your primary responsibilities will be rack building and wire terminations for our various audio-visual installations. You will work closely with our project team to ensure that all AV installations are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards.

In addition, this role will require the ability to work on an active construction site that is in its finishing stages, where coordination with other trades will be necessary.

**Responsibilities**:

- Build and install AV racks according to project specifications
- Perform wire terminations and labeling for all AV installations
- Troubleshoot technical issues and provide solutions
- Collaborate with project managers and other team members to ensure project time lines and budgets are met
- Maintain a high level of professionalism and customer service when interacting with clients
- Coordinate with other trades on an active construction site that is in its finishing stages

**Requirements**:

- 2+ years of experience in audio-visual installation and maintenance, or relevant experience
- Experience with rack building and wire terminations
- Knowledge of industry standards and best practices for audio-visual installations
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Must be able to work on-site at various locations in Red Deer and surrounding areas, including active construction sites that are in their finishing stages
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
