**Job Overview**

**Duties**
- Assist in the preparation and serving of meals according to dietary guidelines and resident preferences.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and dining areas, adhering to food safety standards.
- Deliver meals to residents in a timely manner while providing excellent customer service.
- Ensure proper handling and storage of food items to prevent contamination.
- Collaborate with nursing staff to understand residents' dietary restrictions and preferences.
- Participate in inventory management by monitoring stock levels of food supplies and reporting needs to supervisors.
- Follow all safety protocols and procedures while working in the kitchen environment.

**Qualifications**
- Previous experience in the food industry or assisted living environments is preferred but not required.
- Knowledge of food handling practices and food safety regulations is essential.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with residents, staff, and family members.
- Time management skills to efficiently complete tasks within designated timeframes.
- Ability to work as part of a team while also being self-motivated.
- A passion for providing quality care through nutrition is highly valued.
- Must be able to follow instructions accurately and maintain a positive attitude in a fast-paced environment.

**Job Type**: Part-time

Pay: From $17.40 per hour

Expected hours: 12 - 24 per week
