Investigator - Surveillance & General Investigations (Casual Pool Intake)

**Hiring Location**:

- Calgary & Southern Alberta

**Risk Control seeks to add licensed investigators to our on-call and as-needed pool for surveillance and investigation-related tasks. Once added to our pool of investigators, you will be given the opportunity to take on files on an as and when needed basis.**

**DUTIES**:

- Conduct general investigations.
- Conduct mobile and stationary surveillance of persons, locations, and activities.
- Collect video and photograph evidence.
- Document all activities and prepare reports with detailed notes of all target and investigator activities.
- Liaise with the investigations manager for all tasks and follow-up related to the file.

**MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS**:

- Valid Private Investigator’s License.
- Previous investigative experience as a Private Investigator or law enforcement officer.
- Valid Alberta Class 5, 4 (or higher) Driver's License.
- Communicate fluently in English.
- Applicants must be able to pass a background investigation and obtain a vulnerable sector security clearance.

**Job Types**: Part-time, Fixed term contract, Casual

Pay: $30.00-$50.00 per hour

Flexible language requirement:

- French not required

- 10 hour shift
- 12 hour shift
- 4 hour shift
- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Evening shift
- Morning shift
- Night shift
- Weekends as needed

**Language**:

- English (preferred)
