We are hiring a Part-time RPN covering for a maternity leave for a clinic composed of five family doctors near Yonge and Hwy 401 area.

These following qualities are preferred:

- Graduate from a recognized accredited School of Nursing.
- Registration is in good standing with the College of Nurses of Ontario as an RPN (Registered Practical Nurse).
- Experience in Family medical practice preffered
- Excellent documentation and time management skills.
- Professional membership preferred (CNA, RNAO, WeRPN).

Job duties are:

- Triage patients and conduct screening
- Answering phone calls, especially with regards to vaccination inquiries
- Update patients about their INR
- Perform nursing skills
- Take vital signs, administer medications/vaccinations as per doctor’s order
- T.B. Testing and reading
- ECG
- Wound dressing
- Order and maintain clinic supplies and equipment
- Maintain and handle vaccines as per public health standards
- Sterilize instruments using autoclave
- Clean and sanitize examination rooms between patients
- Document vitals, administered vaccines and urine dip results
- Order and maintain supplies for the clinic
- Restock examination rooms
- Assist physician with procedure
- Clean and sanitize surgery room after every use
- Perform assessment for Forms (eye check, vital signs, urine check)
- Flu vaccinations
- Covid testing
- Help and assist admin team at times

Salary will reflect years of relevant experience

**Job Type**: Part time, Temporary starting January 2025 for 12 months
