The RPN provides optimal nursing care and contributes to the delivery of high quality resident centered care by:

- Carrying out clinical care consistent with the Careplan and updating as required in consultation with the Charge Nurse
- Supporting residents’ independence, dignity, social, emotional and cultural well-being
- Supporting 147 Elder’s REST Philosophy of Care, mission, vision and value statement and helping develop and operationalize the department goals
- Providing elements of clinical care required by the residents which complements the scope of practice of the Personal Support Worker (PSW)
- Working as a team member with the PSW’s, Cook, Recreationists, Environmental Care workers and respects, maintains and contributes to the therapeutic environment
- Working to support the Charge Nurse in the care of the residents
- Being available and guiding the front line, multidisciplinary team as needed to maintaining excellence in residents’ well being
- Anticipating and managing complex, unstable and changing clinical situations
- Reporting changes in health status or unusual occurrence to the Charge Nurse and/or Nurse Supervisor and NP if available

**_Education:_**
- RPN designation from CNO
- Annual CPR recertification

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent

Pay: $26.39-$28.01 per hour
