**About the Role**:As a Connection Line Navigator, you will support parents and caregivers across Alberta by answering calls at the Call Centre and connecting them with the appropriate services & resources. This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about community support, resource navigation, and making meaningful impact in the lives of others.

**Responsibilities**:

- Conduct screenings, intakes, and assessments to identify family needs
- Provide empathetic, strengths-based support and referrals
- Manage incoming calls and maintain accurate data records
- Coordinate with external service providers and community partners
- Plan and support workshops and services aligned with funder mandates
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of community resources and social services
- Ensure compliance with YMCA policies, child protection standards, and health and safety protocols

**Qualifications**:

- Degree in Human Services or a related field (or equivalent experience)
- Minimum 2 years of experience supporting families with complex needs
- Strong communication, assessment, and case management skills
- Knowledge of the Social Determinants of Health and trauma-informed practices
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and data entry systems
- Ability to work independently and as part of a remote team
- Valid driver’s license and access to a vehicle (as required for occasional travel)
- Required certifications: Standard First Aid/CPR-C, Police Intervention Check (Vulnerable Sector), WHMIS
- Assets: Non-Violent Crisis Intervention, Suicide Intervention Training
