We are on the hunt for an analytical and talented Junior Data Analyst/Estimator to provide specialized expertise in lumber estimates and contribute significantly to our framing initiatives.

In your pivotal role as our Junior Data Analyst/Estimator, you will harness your analytical skills to dissect intricate project specifications, determine material necessities, and deliver precise framing quotations. You will be a cornerstone in the meticulous estimation and analysis of project costs, thereby enhancing our resource distribution and project execution strategies.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Execute thorough data analysis and construct cost estimates, focusing primarily on lumber and framing.
- Generate and present accurate framing quotes for an array of project sizes.
- Utilize programming knowledge, with Ruby coding being a notable asset, to refine the estimation process and bolster data precision.
- Engage in active collaboration with the project management team to ensure estimates are in line with project goals.
- Draw upon 3D modelling knowledge, including proficiency in SketchUp, to develop and assess construction models.

**Qualifications**:

- Proven experience in construction estimation underscored by a strong emphasis on data analytics.
- High-level expertise in Microsoft Excel and VBA, with Ruby coding considered a strong asset.
- Acquaintance with the Alberta construction landscape, particularly framing practices.
- Aptitude in 3D modelling software like SketchUp is highly valued.
- Exceptional analytical acumen coupled with robust problem-solving capabilities.
- Remarkable organizational prowess, capable of managing numerous quotes in tandem.
- A relevant degree or equivalent experience in construction, data analysis, computer science, or allied disciplines.
- Framing and project management experience are strong assets.
