**Functions**: The full-time position requires you to work in a team setting on commercial automatic door service and installation projects. You may be involved in; all glass interior doors, aluminum storefront doors, new barrier free installations, retrofits, troubleshooting, and service calls.

**Hours: Typically**:Monday to Friday - 7:30 - 4:00 / 40 hours week

**Occasionally**: Require flexibility to work evenings and weekends as required. Overtime paid at time and a half.

**Perform the following Duties**:

- Install automatic operators onto frames;
- Repair / Service aluminum doors and all glass doors;
- Replace damaged hinges, latches, buttons, pivots, closers, barrier free parts;
- Service and install hardware, panics, latches, electric strikes;
- Troubleshoot Security integration with automatic door equipment;
- Work from ladders;
- Work with Project Managers to coordinate workflow, manpower & material.

**Qualifications**:

- Working electrical knowledge and knowledge of AAADM legislation
- Familiarity with Nabco, Stanley, Record, Dorma, Ditech, and Horton operators.
- Strong knowledge with the use of hand and/or power tools;
- Must have hand tools;
- Ability to work on your feet for long periods of time;
- Reliability and punctuality;
- Great attitude and the ability to work with others;
- Valid Alberta Class 5 driver’s license; a driver’s abstract will be required;
- Physically fit and able to perform within various working conditions and weather;
- Fluent reading, writing and ability to communicate in English;
- Legally able to work in Canada without a Visa; and
- Ability to participate in Police background checks.

Pay: $27.00-$35.00 per hour
