_**RAPS is Seeking a Temporary Weekend Caregiver to Assist an Immobilized individual with Dementia (E27)**_
- **Location**_: South Edmonton ( Belgravia) _**Start Date October 21 to December 18**_
- **Days: Saturday 9:30pm7am and Sunday 10:30pm
- 6am**_
- **Job Description**_: Duties include but are not limited to: transfers from bed to wheelchair and back using a Hoyer lift, changing incontinence products, _**peri care in bed on an immobilized person**_, range of motion exercises, blood glucose monitoring, medication administration, dressing, other personal care/hygiene, meal preparation, feeding assistance, light housekeeping, laundry, documentation in log book, supervision & companionship (engage with the client)._
- **Qualifications and Other Requirements**_: Must have a recent criminal record check including a vulnerable sector check, must either have an HCA certificate or a minimum of 6 months’ previous caregiving experience. _**Must be comfortable with Hoyer lift alone. **_First aid & CPR & driver’s license and vehicle considered an asset._
- **Must be able to move client’s body in bed without causing bruising (by gripping or pressing) or stress (by sudden, quick movements when repositioning client)**_
- **Rate of Pay**_: $20.00/ hour_
