Edmonton, Canada Residential Aide Placement Service (RAPS) Full time

_**RAPS is Seeking an Overnight Awake caregiver to Assist an individual with Autism (E8)**_
- **Location**_: South Edmonton (University)_
- **Days Friday and Saturday**_
- **Hours: 8pm
- 8am**_
- **Job Description**_: Duties include but are not limited to: transfers, personal care (toileting, bathing and dressing), tube feeding, flushing, medication administration, assistive walking, ROM exercises, verbal cueing/redirection, behavioral management, and documentation, mental stimulation (including board games, fine motor activities, reading/storytelling, etc.)_
- **Key attributes**:_ _Mature and professional in manner, trustworthy, interactive, outgoing, engaging, great sense of humor, patient, compassionate, motivating, observant, great communication and interpersonal skills._
- **Qualifications and Other Requirements**_: Must have a recent criminal record check including a vulnerable sector check, and experience with autism/behavioral/high needs are required for this position. G/J- Tube feeding skills, experience with medical monitors (vitals) is an asset. CPR Certificate, First Aide Certificate, Driver’s License and Vehicle is an asset but not a necessity. Applicants must be comfortable with pets, have both Covid-19 vaccinations, be a non-smoker, and must have strong and reliable communicative skills, the ability to take the time to consider the client's gestures and behaviours and respond accordingly is also a great asset._
- **Rate of Pay**_: $19-$21/ hour based on experience and performance_

**Job Type**: Part-time
Part-time hours: 24 per week

**Salary**: $19.00-$21.00 per hour

- 12 hour shift
- Every Weekend
- Night shift
- Weekend availability

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Edmonton, AB: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
