**Job Description - Jr. Prop Builder and Event Installer**
We are seeking an energetic team player to join us as a Prop Builder, dedicated to creating new and innovative products. Responsibilities for this role include reading product schematics, ensuring the availability of all necessary parts, and ensuring that all products are produced within the required timeline. In this position, you will collaborate with various tools, materials, and team members to craft a diverse range of products and displays tailored for events and tradeshows nationwide.

**Responsibilities**
- Using a wide variety of power tools eg. Table saw, mitre saw, drill press and various hand tools.
- Build custom display booths including; bars, back walls, canopy's, trade show booths, logistics equipment (crates/dollies)..
- Work off site delivering and setting up for Tradeshows and Events.
- Willingness to work extended hour shifts
- Willingness to travel across the country
- Ensure that all the required parts for assembly are present.
- Confirm that all parts are properly fitted, aligned, and secured.
- Ensure that quality control standards are met.
- Maintain a production schedule.
- Test products for their functionality.
- Troubleshoot and stress test products to minimize problems or recalls.

**Desired Skill Set, Experience & Qualifications**
- Proficient in reading blueprints and shop drawings.
- Strong problem-solving abilities on-site.
- Demonstrated capability to work independently and collaboratively within a team, with strong interpersonal skills.
- Excellent problem-solving skills.
- Possess the ability and willingness to drive large trucks.
- Proficient in setting up and operating woodworking machinery (e.g., table saw, edge-bander, wide belt sander, jointer, planer).
- Confident and safe operation of a variety of industry-related power tools and hand tools.
- Knowledge of basic woodworking techniques and processes
- Strong mathematical and analytical skills for material take-offs and cut lists
- Effectively working with mínimal supervision and adhering to all health and safety standards is essential.
- Exhibit attention to detail in all tasks.
- Demonstrate Good organizational skills
- Relevant training and/or certifications as a Carpenter or Fabricator

Hold a G License and maintain a clean driving record.

**Salary**: $24.00-$26.00 per hour

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday majority of the time.
- Willingness to work extended hours when need be.
- Flexibility to work nights and weekends is a must
- Flexibility to travel across the country when needed

Supplemental pay types:

- Bonus pay

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Gormley, ON: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

**Experience**:

- Carpentry or Related Prop Building: 3 years (preferred)

Work Location: In person

Expected start date: TBD

Pay: $45,000.00-$50,000.00 per year
