Aon is looking for an Associate for our national team specialized in post-retirement and post-employment insurance plans actuarial valuations and assumptions setting for those plans. This is an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate, looking to gain experience in the field.

This can be a hybrid role with the flexibility to work both virtually and/or from one of our Canadian offices.

**What the day will look like**:
You will be responsible for the preparation and delivery of OPEB specific actuarial valuations for a complex group of clients in Canada including:

- data reconciliation, benefit calculations, gains and losses reconciliation
- preparation of disclosures and accounting reports in accordance with Canadian, American, and international accounting standards
- Assisting consultants to help our clients with day-to-day issues and questions.

**Skills and experience that will lead to success**:

- Minimum of 1 - 3 years of relevant experience, preferably in a consulting or insurance environment
- An outstanding ability in mathematics and financial analysis, and demonstrated computer skills using financial spreadsheet programs
- Superior interpersonal abilities, both written and oral.
- Ability to work under deadlines, and on several projects simultaneously is essential;
- Thorough knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) is an asset.
