**JOB DESCRIPTION**

**(1)** **Approved Job Title**: Inventory Coordinator (New/Used/Wholesale)

**Department**: Sales/Service

**Reports To**: GM, DOO, Sales Managers, Service Manager.

**(2) Basic Function**:Coordinate and facilitate all inventory related functions of new & used vehicles.

**(3) Primary Duties Include (but not limited to)**:

- Report to General Manager, Directory of Ops, Fixed Ops and Service Manager and perform any tasks allocated for inventory and the lot management.
- Manage and oversee all car photos - both new and used (taking photos, editing, and uploading to website, etc.)
- Get vehicles 'Digital Ready' for Retail Sale (including, cleaned/washed, vehicle descriptions and unique descriptions.
- Handle and oversee all online activity of new and used inventory (photo mgt, upload DSS, data input and descriptions, tracking, and daily Facebook/Instagram Posts and Stories (new/used), etc.
- Work in sync with Used Car Manager to coordinate and maintain used car master list/inventory
- Google shared file - to ensure the list (and inventory) are updated daily/regularly. o Stock in and stock out all used vehicles and trade ins and/or wholesale purchases o Stock in trades and ensure accuracy of data input (make, model, kms, safety, etc.)
- Coordinate wholesale inventory and ensure vehicles are tagged as wholesale vs. retail sale
- Ensure sold cars are removed from website and master used file.
- Ensure used cars have banners and certification on all media platforms (website, Trader, etc.)
- Ensure that incoming inventory is stocked in the correct location.
- Work with Service Manager and Internal Advisor to ensure steady flow with PDI and Safeties o Strive for new processes and streamline current procedures for increased efficiencies o For example - key processes, vehicle inspections, damaged units, body repairs needed, determining what trades should be wholesale/retail, major clean ups, etc.
- Perform vehicle inspection on all cars dropped off by outside vendors (new and/or wholesale)
- Work with lot attendants and car wash employees to ensure high productivity.
- Maintain inventory and work with lot staff to ensure appearance of lot is kept intact and presentable for business each day. (Cars parked in straight lines, fill holes in parking lot, etc.)
- Work with New and Used Car managers to display vehicles on the lot.
- Help ensure that incoming inventory is stocked in the correct location.
- Provide ongoing feedback and analysis to GM and DOO.
- Deliver ongoing quality assurance for on lot vehicles
- Provide Inventory quality assurance (Aged inventory inspections). Vehicles with issues, damage that may deter a retail sale.
- Reporting when needed, i.e. any issues and/or concerns with inventory, sales trends, etc.
- Maintain a balanced inventory consistent with the requirements of the defined areas.
- Compares serial numbers of incoming cars against invoice.
- Inspects vehicles to detect damage and to verify the presence of accessories listed on the invoice.
- Records the description of damages and lists missing items on the delivery receipt.
- Assigns stock control numbers to cars.
- Moves sold vehicles to maximize use of space and keep the lot in order.
- Delivers sold vehicles to the new-vehicle preparation department.
- Assist and help with all Dealer Trades
- Demonstrates behaviors consistent with the Company’s Values in all interactions with customers, co-workers and vendors.

**Salary**: $23.00-$25.00 per hour

Schedule:
