**Job Overview**

**Duties**
- Greet and welcome guests as they arrive at the restaurant with a friendly demeanor.
- Manage reservations and seating arrangements to optimize the dining experience.
- Assist guests with menu inquiries and provide recommendations when necessary.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host/host area.
- Collaborate with servers and kitchen staff to ensure timely service.
- Handle phone calls with professionalism, taking reservations and answering questions about the menu or restaurant policies.
- Monitor guest flow and communicate effectively with team members to minimize wait times.
- Provide support during busy periods to enhance overall guest satisfaction.

**Skills**
- Strong guest service skills with a focus on hospitality and customer satisfaction.
- Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is preferred.
- Familiarity with POS systems, particularly Micros POS, is a plus.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact effectively with guests and staff.
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- A positive attitude and willingness to learn new skills related to serving and hospitality.

**Job Type**: Part-time

Pay: $16.00 per hour

Expected hours: 12 - 30 per week
