Mark Edwards Apparel is currently seeking a **Junior** **Graphic Artist** to join their growing team

Tasks will include, but are not limited to, the following:

- Creating collection boards (junior, maternity, men’s, etc.) with multiple options using Computer Assisted Designs (CADS).
- Making CADS on Photoshop (ex. Modifying existing garments/bodies as well as changing colors and prints) to meet sales expectations in order to show buyers.
- Creating new artwork or modifying existing artwork that will go on garments (via illustrator/Photoshop) in order to meet sales and buyers requirements.
- Assist in developing and implementing new ideas/programs in order to increase creative capabilities and effectiveness.
- Building and maintaining an electronic library for all Artworks/Cads created and produced.
- Following deadlines and being able to coordinate and complete multiple projects at the same time in a timely manner.
- Have a post-secondary diploma in Graphic Arts
- Have strong Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator skills
- Be results and detail oriented
- Be able to work well independently or in a team
- Have creative ability and artistic talent

Les responsabilités principales:

- Créer des tableaux de présentation (junior/missy/ Contemporain /ect.) en utilisant un logiciel de conception assistée par ordinateur (CADs);
- Faire des CADs avec Photoshop (ex. ajouter une manche à un modèle et changer les imprimés) pour présenter aux acheteurs;
- Faire des résumés de rencontre pour aider l’équipe de ventes et les acheteurs;
- Prendre les photos des nouveaux échantillons qui arrivent et isoler le vêtement avec Photoshop;
- Faire des recherches sur internet pour les nouvelles tendances d’impressions;
- Assister dans le développement et l’implantation de nouvelles idées/programmes/logiciels pour augmenter les capacités créatives;
- Préparer les spécifications techniques (esquisse des vêtements et indiquer les notes de constructions spécifiques en utilisant Excel et Illustrator);
- Recréer des imprimés existants (via Illustrator/Photoshop);
- Bâtir et maintenir la bibliothèque électronique des dessins / productions techniques;
- S’assurer de respecter les délais et compléter les projets dans les délais exigés.

Exigences requises:

- Avoir un diplôme d’études collégiales en design graphique ou de la mode;
- Très bonne connaissance d’Adobe Photoshop et Illustrator;
- Être attentif aux détails et motivé;
- Capable de travailler seul comme en équipe;
- Avoir des habiletés créatives et artistique
