**About the Job**:
**Job Position**:Payroll-Benefits/Accounting Administrator (Full Time Position)
**Position Overview**:
- 2 years experience - Payroll and Benefit administration.
**Responsibilities will include**:
- Administration of Bi-Weekly Payroll (experience with Payworks program considered an asset).
- Company administrator for Benefits & RRSP programs, including enrollment, updates, terminations, ROE.
- Administrator for Absence /Vacation reporting records.
- Vacation accruals, WSIB reporting, Vacation/Time Management tracking, RRSP reporting.
- Commission reports.
- Preparation of year-end/period end documents for Payroll involving both Ontario and Quebec.
**General Accounting Functions**:
- Accounts Payable
- Matching, verifying price and quantities from incoming packing slips to vendor invoices.
- Matching and posting freight invoices.
- Posting vendors invoices to Spire. (experience with Spire considered an asset)
- Following up on discrepancies, statements, returns and missing invoices.
- Reconciliation of accrual accounts.
- Preparation of Weekly A/P run.
- Matching / Filing of A/P records.
- Accounts Receivable
- Matching pick lists to order confirmations.
- Issuing customer invoices.
- Recording and filing invoices.
- Collections.
- Cross-training on both A/R, A/P, Accounting and general Office functions to allow seamless coverage for vacation/illness or high volume periods.
