**Job Title**: Overnight Houseperson/Security

**Job Summary**:
Supports the Housekeeping and Front Office teams by maintaining public area cleanliness, assisting with housekeeping tasks, and ensuring the security and safety of the property overnight. This is a key position that helps ensure a smooth, clean, and safe overnight environment for both guests and staff.

**Job Duties**:

- Clean and inspect public areas including hallways, lobbies, restrooms, the fitness centre, pool area, and meeting rooms.
- Assist Housekeeping by stripping beds, delivering linens to floor closets, and supporting laundry operations.
- Deliver requested items (e.g., towels, pillows, toiletries) promptly to guest rooms.
- Conduct regular rounds of the property, inspecting entrances, stairwells, and the parking lot for cleanliness and safety.
- Support the Guest Service Agent with overnight guest inquiries or customer service needs.
- Monitor guest feedback and address minor concerns with courtesy and professionalism.
- Be familiar with and follow hotel emergency and safety protocols.
- Assist with minor maintenance or housekeeping projects as directed by management.
- Ensure all entrances are secure and free from obstructions or debris.
- Maintain a professional appearance and demeanor while representing the hotel overnight.
- Perform additional tasks or reasonable requests as assigned by management.

**Requirements**:

- Must be physically fit to lift and carry up to 50 lb (approximately 22kg).
- Comfortable with physical tasks such as walking rounds, lifting linens, and moving equipment or supplies.
- Capable of working overnight shifts independently with mínimal supervision.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to identify cleanliness or safety concerns.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Previous experience in housekeeping, security, or hospitality is an asset.
- Ability to remain calm and composed during emergencies.
- Knowledge of hotel operations, safety procedures, and cleaning techniques is preferred.
- Must be available to work weekends and holidays as required.
