The Nigel Program is a licensed residential program for adults with complex disabilities. Care at Nigel Program is supported by a clinical interdisciplinary team providing nursing care, personal care, occupational and physical therapy, social work, dietary services and recreational therapy who facilitate active living programs

**DUTIES**:
To carry out duties related to the day-to-day care of independent group home residents. Duties include carrying out basic charting and maintaining other record keeping systems; meal preparation, queuing residents in activities of daily living; participating in activities and programs to enhance the social, recreational, mental and physical functioning of residents; performing other related duties

Harriet house is home to 14 residents who are independent with their care needs but require reminders/queuing for their ADL’s. HCW works independently at Harriet House with nursing/management support from Nigel house. HCW supports residents with meal preparation, medication reminders/assistance and light housekeeping of kitchen and dinning room.

**QUALIFICATIONS**:

- Must be registered with the BC Care Aide & Community Health Worker Registry
- Health Care Aide or Community Support Worker certificate from a reputable College or Agency
- Must be eligible to work with vulnerable children & adults under the BC Criminal Records Review Program
- Valid Food Safe Certificate
- Negative TB Screen
- Proof of COVID-19 vaccination is a condition of employment

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $28.74 per hour
