The Nigel Program is a licensed residential program for adults with complex disabilities. Care at Nigel Program is supported by a clinical interdisciplinary team providing nursing care, personal care, occupational and physical therapy, social work, dietary services and recreational therapy who facilitate active living programs

**DUTIES**:
Under supervision, to carry out duties related to the day-to-day care residents. Duties include carrying out routine tasks related to the personal care of residents such as bathing, dressing, feeding and bed-making; carrying out basic charting and maintaining other record keeping systems; participating in the development and maintenance of care plans; assisting residents in activities of daily living; participating in activities and programs to enhance the social, recreational, mental and physical functioning of residents; performing other related duties

**QUALIFICATIONS**:

- Must be registered with the BC Care Aide & Community Health Worker Registry
- Health Care Aide or Community Support Worker certificate from a reputable College or Agency
- Must be eligible to work with vulnerable children & adults under the BC Criminal Records Review Program
- Valid Food Safe Certificate
- Negative TB Screen
- Proof of COVID-19 vaccination is a condition of employment

**Salary**: $28.74 per hour
