Summary
**Responsibilities**:
- Demonstrate a thorough and accurate knowledge of the field
- Visiting the clinical facility for supervising the students
- Administer and marks quizzes, assignments, exams and/or other assessments to monitor and evaluate students’ progress according to guidelines and procedures
- Evaluate student performance fairly and consistently and return student marks promptly
- Provide feedback on student performance
- Arrange feedback from students on the instructor, content, and facility at the end of each course
- Demonstrate sensitivity to student needs and individual circumstances in a multi-cultural environment
- Resolve student complaints and concerns with a positive and professional attitude
- Maintain attendance records accurately
- Provide support to the admissions team with potential students who have questions about the program or future career
- Participate in scheduled meetings and annual events like graduation
- Maintain confidentiality of student privacy and information
- Display an attitude of teamwork and problem solving
- Perform other related duties as required
Skills Required
- Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and database systems
- Excellent oral and written communication to present information in a way that students will understand as well as adapt to the different learning styles
- Flexible to travel to the clinical CIMT College campuses as required
- Flexible to work between 9:00 am - 5:30 pm **or** 5:00 pm - 10:00 pm, from Monday to Friday, as per the schedule
**Qualifications**:
- Must be registered with CNO as RN or RPN
- ** Must present with a minimum of three (2-3) years current, relevant work experience in a Canadian clinical environment**, preferably in a long-term care/hospital/community/chronic care setting; and
- Meet Instructor qualification standards as outlined in the Regulations to Private Career Colleges Act, 2005.
25 - 30 hrs per week
