Your Role
As the Benefits Specialist, you will be responsible for assisting and supporting employees by managing and administering our employee benefits.
Day to Day
Administer various employee benefits programs, such as group health, flexibility spending accounts, dental and vision, accident and disability, life insurance, retirement, and wellness benefits.
Conduct benefits orientations and explain benefits self-enrollment system.
Assist employees with health, dental, life and other related benefit claims.
Maintain employee benefits filing systems and ensure benefits changes are entered appropriately in payroll system for payroll deduction.
Verify the calculation of the monthly premium statements for all group insurance policies and maintain statistical date relative to premiums, claims and costs.
Assist in obtaining statistics and information in renewal process of any health, life, and retirement plans that benefit the company.
Support the Human Resources Manager in completing benefits reporting requirements.
**Qualifications**:
Demonstrated knowledge of employee benefits programs and applicable laws and regulations.
Relevant experience in employee benefits administration is a plus.
Ability to maintain confidentiality when dealing with sensitive information.
Excellent communication, organizational, and time management skills with the ability to handle multiple priorities effectively.
Proficient in Microsoft 365 Application Suite, and the ability to learn new software.
Must be available to work on-site.
