Quality Management Intern

**AECOM** is seeking a Quality Management Intern to be based in our Burnaby office.
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented engineering or architectural student to join our Burnaby office as a Quality Management Intern. This is a 4-8-month temporary full-time position, depending on co-op work term availability, ideal for a student who has completed at least 3 years of a Bachelor’s program in Civil Engineering or a related field and is eager to gain hands-on experience in quality management within the transportation industry.
**Responsibilities include but are not limited to**:
- Assist with monitoring and evaluation activities to help ensure compliance with AECOM’s quality management systems.- Support the maintenance of quality-related records and documentation.- Help identify opportunities for process improvement and support the implementation of corrective actions.- Collaborate with team members to address quality-related issues and contribute to technical problem-solving.- Participate in internal audits, inspections, and reviews under the guidance of senior staff.- Assist with data collection and analysis to support ongoing quality initiatives.- Work alongside experienced professionals to gain insight into current business trends and industry best practices.- May include construction inspection activities.

- Strong written and verbal communication skills- Attention to detail and interest in quality systems and project delivery processes- Previous internship or co-op experience in engineering, construction, or quality assurance is an asset- Familiarity with quality management systems (e.g., ISO 9001) is considered a plus- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)

Offered compensation will be based on location and individual qualifications. The expected range is $25.00/hour - $27.00/hour.
