Associate Manager of Financial Aid

**Position Summary**
The Associate Manager of Financial Aid (AMFA) actively participates in the vision of Bryan College through setting the example of excellence in assisting and coaching staff to succeed. The AMFA is responsible for upholding and maintaining a compliant FAO team to assist applicants/potential students to succeed. And in turn, the AMFA will be ultimately responsible for awarding and packaging students with financing their education and ensuring that students are supported in achieving their individualized plans.
**General Responsibilities**
- Supervise, coach, mentor, and evaluate the Financial Aid Officers
- Ensure compliance with all Ministry rules and regulations (both the Career Colleges division and the Student Financial Assistance division)
- Assist the Campus President in reviewing and evaluating reporting to ensure teams are meeting key performance goals
- Work closely with Campus President to ensure process efficiency and effectiveness interdepartmentally
- Assist in the development of policies and procedures
- Lead the preparation and response for all audits
- Oversee the daily operations and practices of their assigned financial aid team members
- Provide training and guidance on regulatory updates
- Manage the process of uploading digital copies of transcripts to STEPS
- Other duties and special projects as assigned by the Campus President
**Physical Demands/Work Environment**
- Ability to host and participate in meetings both in-person and online.
- Ability to sit for four to eight hours
- Ability to work onsite 5 days per week
- Proficiency with PC computers and ability to learn and use multiple technology platforms
**Minimum Qualifications**
- 4-5 years of financial aid experience in Higher Education, along with the ability to show demonstrated knowledge of the financial aid process
- 1+ years of management experience
- Expert OSAP regulations knowledge
- Outstanding interpersonal communication and written skills
- Ability to make and adapt to change quickly
- Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously in a collaborative environment
- Desire to contribute to the College’s mission and influence others through positive team interactions
Pay: $50,000.00-$54,000.00 per year
