**JOB DESCRIPTION**

**JOB TITLE: SUPERVISOR - AIR FREIGHT**

**LOCATION: Toronto**

**PRINCIPLE MISSION**:
Offer superior service to meet the changing needs of customers. Manage and control departmental activities in order to meet objectives and according to the established budget.

**Responsibilities**:

- Act as the resource person for the Bolloré network, the suppliers, and customer service (internally and externally) and ensure a high level of customer service is offered.
- Assist the department manager with the preparation of the departmental budget and ensure it is followed.
- Plan, organize and distribute the workload to team members.
- Manage conflicts in an innovative manner.
- Communicate, in a timely manner, the relevant information and issues to the immediate supervisor.
- Propose the material or capital needs, according to the growth or changes in the department.
- Recruit, train, supervise, hold accountable and evaluate staff. Put in place corrective actions.
- Create a work environment based on respect and cooperation.
- Understand and comply with established ISO procedures and transport laws and measure performance.
- Prepare required reports.
- Complete all required trainings for the position including but not limited to the good distribution of pharmaceutical products.
- Other duties as assigned by the immediate supervisor.

**Profile**:
For all levels, a diploma of collegiate studies or the academic equivalent, and experience in or training in management.

Level 1: 5-10 years’ experience in the industry and 1-2 years’ experience in supervision.
Level 2: More than 10 years of experience in the industry and 5 years’ experience in supervision.

**Skills and Competencies**:
Very good knowledge of MS Office environment; business acumen; fluent in French and English, both orally and written; leadership; integrity; excellent judgment; ability to negotiate; problem solving skills; team player; good decision-making, communication; composure.
