Ignition Marine is seeking an experienced **Tech Lead** with a strong mechanical background to manage a team of 8 technicians and oversee high-quality service for yachts and boats. If you have a passion for the marine industry and **5+ years of experience** in the yachting and boating sector, we want to hear from you

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Lead and dispatch tasks for a team of 8 technicians, ensuring smooth workflow and proper job allocation.
- Provide hands-on **guidance, training,** and support to technicians. You must be open and approachable to their questions.
- Ensure high-quality work by monitoring job processes and maintaining clear communication with the team.
- Troubleshoot and solve mechanical issues, ensuring all work complies with industry standards.
- Collaborate closely with the **Project Manager** and **Operations Manager** to address challenges and ensure project timelines are met.
- Supervise on-site activities, moving from one technician to another, ensuring that all jobs are completed with excellence and attention to detail.
- Promote a positive team environment with a focus on **patience** and **training**.

**Qualifications**:

- **Minimum 5 years of experience** in the **yachting** or **boating industry** with a strong mechanical knowledge base.
- Proven experience in leading a team or acting as a supervisor in a hands-on mechanical role.
- Excellent **communication** skills and ability to effectively manage, train, and guide a team.
- Ability to multitask, answer technical questions, and ensure technicians follow processes properly.
- Must be extremely **patient** and committed to achieving high-quality work.
- Knowledge of marine mechanical systems and the ability to troubleshoot effectively.

**Additional Details**:

- This is an **on-site** role, requiring you to be actively involved with your team daily.
- You will be working closely with both technicians and management to ensure smooth operations and job completion.

**Salary**: Competitive - open to negotiation based on experience.
