**Master’s of Chemical Risk Assessment (MRA) Program Coordinator**:
**Primary Purpose**:To support the Toxicology Centre in development, management and delivery of the Master’s of Chemical Risk Assessment (MRA) Program.

**Nature of Work**:Reporting to the Executive Director of the School of Environment and Sustainability, this position has primary responsibility for organizing and managing the MRA program in the Toxicology Centre and for assisting with logistics related to the delivery of courses, and is the point of contact for students and instructors regarding online content and technical matters, content management and academic challenges. The successful applicant works collaboratively with and communicates with a wide range of stakeholders, including faculty, staff, students and external partners. This position works in a team environment to help ensure student satisfaction and develop and implement highly effective student engagement and retention.

The work requires a mastery of curricular and programmatic matters, and general details pertaining to graduate studies at USask, and an ability to render them clear and accessible to all audiences. The work is demanding, multifaceted and often time-sensitive. The incumbent will update online content and materials on a regular basis and will work closely with instructors to manage any issues with the online delivery of the program.

**Typical Duties or Accountabilities**:

- Help manage and organize the MRA program and activities across the program.
- Develop curriculum for some of the online courses and assist with content development and delivery (both asynchronous and synchronous) of courses.
- Lead some synchronous sessions with MRA students.
- Work closely with other MRA instrutors to ensure program cohesion and logical progression and reevaluate and redevelop course contents on a regular basis.
- Participate in meetings regarding the MRA program and contribute to the equity lens.
- Responsible for the equity and consistency of courses, which will include coodinating, overseeing, and sometimes leading instructional activities.
- Serve as the main point of contact regarding program and course content, and other information about the MRA Program.
- Work in collaboration and coordination with both USask and external instructors, and assist all external instructors with course logistics and delivery.
- Possibly assist with coordination and support delivery of other Toxicology courses.
- Provide feedback on progress, opportunities, and issues to the Toxicology Centre Director and the SENS Executive Director.
- Other duties as relevant and appropriate.

**Qualifications**:
PhD trained individual in environmental sciences, chemical risk assessment, or a related discipline with appropriate academic experience and skills. Project management experience. Experience in toxicology and risk assessment curriculum would be considered a strong asset.

- Sound knowledge of theories, practices and strategies pertaining to development and implementation of toxicology and chemical risk assessment courses at the post-secondary level.
- Demonstrated ability to build a strong rapport with students and instructors.
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively and show initiative with others in a collaborative and collegial environment.
- Proven flexibility to work on multiple tasks with competing deadlines.
- Demonstrated computer proficiency, including advanced skills with CANVAS.

**Salary**: The salary range, based on 1.0 FTE, is $67,681.00 - 105,753.00 per annum. The starting salary will be commensurate with education and experience.
