**Who we’re looking for**

We are looking for an experienced and hands-on VP of Technology who has a strong track record of leading high performing teams, delivering quality products and solutions across various verticals and sectors.

This position will play a key role in growing and managing a cross-functional team, including security, compliance, architecture, engineering, and devops while strengthening our practices and processes.

In this role, you will:

- Work with global clients and high-performing teams to grow and refine our strategic technical expertise and practices.
- Directly contribute to BIMM’s strategic objectives, and help facilitate our continued growth as a digital experience agency
- Work together with your team of director level engineers, architects, and leads to deliver on that vision
- Influence and champion technological decisions to support our business and product objectives

**Responsibilities**
- Responsible for leading technology teams who work collaboratively with a shared mission and targets, in achieving our organizational objectives
- Partner with Director, Product Management to help manage product development process, ensuring the development of scalable solutions on budget and as scheduled
- Provide hands-on leadership to direct reports and strong mentorship to support career development for the team
- Provide strategic, technical, thought-leadership to our clients and solutions, keeping us current while challenging us to go further
- Support and continually improve agile development practices
- Seek efficiencies through automation and proactively consider architecture with an eye for future scaling
- Support the documentation of internal projects, as well as draft formal communications, including plans, updates, and long-term planning
- Organized, proactive and nimble to respond effectively to a rapidly evolving business
- Partner with our Director of Delivery Partnerships to manage vendors associated with a scalable delivery model and expanded technology partnerships
- Supports an open and highly collaborative work environment and leads in a manner that fosters high engagement, performance and commitment amongst the teams
- Embodies BIMM’s values, supports our customers, and able to add and contribute to BIMM’s amazing culture and environment

**Requirements**:

- Minimum 2 years of experience in an Account Coordinator/Executive role or similar in an agency setting
- Strong client service orientation
- High quality assurance standards
- Excellent English communication skills (written and verbal)
- Ability to multi-task and set priorities (manage a high volume of projects at once)
- Highly developed interpersonal and communication skills
- Superior organizational and time management skills, with meticulous attention to detail
- Ability to design and deliver presentations
- Passionate about driving results with clients

**Nice to have**
- Minimum 10 years of progressive experience in digital products or software development
- Proven experience managing web-based technology infrastructures, cross industry, discipline and vertical
- Deep technical knowledge of software development methodologies, as well as design and implementation best practices
- Previous experience scaling a digital product, including team, architecture and processes
- Experience managing multiple, parallel development work streams from concept, design, implementation and refinement
- Experience operating in an environment that both requires optimization of existing systems and processes while leading the decision of when to build, when to partner and when to purchase
- Naturally curious and passionate about technology, and is knowledgeable about a diverse range of technologies and platforms.
- Experience leading in a product engineering organization with a hybrid-colocation and public cloud hosting environment
- Experienced leader with proven ability in achieving executional excellence
- Proven ability to contribute to the strategic direction of the business
- Experience leading in a polygot microservices environment
- Natural collaborator who appreciates the importance of building relationships
- Leads with an authentic, open and engaging style that fosters credibility and trust
