Further, as we specialize in managing condominium corporations, we take a highly personalized and caring approach to ensure that each person is dealt with politely and courteously. Our managers do not manage from behind a desk. Our most fundamental management premise is to get to know our clients. We make this happen by being on-site to meet with owners, Board members, and Superintendents regularly. This distinctive approach assures that we connect with individuals, understand the building, and establish a direct communication line with everyone associated with your corporation. With larger corporations, we coordinate to be on-site at least one morning per week to deal with any concerns and connect with the owners. **The Job** We are currently seeking a Part-Time Building Attendant for our team in a beautiful building located in Niagara Falls, Ontario. The Building Attendant works under the Property Manager and Superintendent's direction to oversee the building's administrative and maintenance operations. The team will work together to ensure the highest standard of living for the residents on the weekends. As the member of the on-site property management team, the **key responsibilities** of the Building Attendant include, but are not limited to: - Promptly responding to resident issues and service requests, maintaining a positive relationship with co-workers, residents and vendors; - Performing various building maintenance and repairs; - Accepting deliveries to the building and safely storing them to be collected by residents; - Minor janitorial duties such as sweeping, mopping, cleaning, etc. - Minor snow removal during the winter ie. the lobby entrance walkway - Other relevant duties within the scope, spirit, and purpose of the job identified by yourself or as reasonably requested by management. **Desired skills and experience**: - Completion of High School or general education degree (GED); - Minimum 1 year of building maintenance experience; - Maintain confidentiality, sound judgment, and diplomacy as well as a positive attitude and effective interpersonal skills; - Strong ability to work both independently and as a member of a team; - Possessing a valid G driver's license is an asset; - Exposure to multi-residential high-rise buildings would be a very strong asset.
