Our open concept taproom, vast outdoor space and unique bottle shop makes Blackburn a must-visit destination in the Niagara Region.

**Purpose of Role**

Blackburn is looking for a highly motivated individual to join our bottle shop team. Our taproom and bottle shop staff are key players in delivering and maintaining the Blackburn experience for all visitors who walk through our doors. This person will be the front-line of our brewery and will help guide and educate customers on our core brands, seasonal and limited releases, new products and our various branded merchandise - assist guests in all aspects of their shopping journey with us. This role will provide exceptional customer service and will look for and identify opportunities to be a 'difference maker' in someone's visit to Blackburn.

**Overview of the Role**
- Greeting and providing exceptional service to all brewery visitors
- Stocking and facing product and merchandise to maintain a clean and visually appealing store.
- Record purchases into the POS system (Clover)
- Daily opening and closing duties in the bottle shop (as required)
- Daily cleaning of the Bottle Shop, Patio and Bar Area
- Acting as a host for the taproom during busy periods
- Checking guests in during events and group functions
- Count inventory and ensure accurate reconciliation
- Moving around the bottle shop and taproom to assist in other areas when needed
- Identify problems and assist in producing logical solutions to help co-workers solve issues
- Possess excellent communication skills and enjoy building relationships with customers and co-workers
- Must have a strong attention to detail and an ability to work well as part of a team as well as independently.
- You have strong communication skills, a great work ethic and a positive attitude.
- A passion for great customer service. Prior service experience is required.
- A passion for great beer and a knowledge of beer and beer styles is preferred
- Experience working in a fast-paced environment
- A team player with a positive attitude
- Smart Serve Certification
- At least 18 years of age or older
- Must be able to constantly move around the bottle shop, storage area, event areas, complete transactions, clean and organize
- Availability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends
